Art Class Sydney annunces two new January Workshops

Art Class Sydney has just added two new workshops to its calendar for 2013, both in January. The first is the ever popular Creativity and Abstraction 2 Day workshop on 19th and 20th January in the beautiful, heritage listed Blue Mountains, followed by a Three day Intensive workshop - Fundamentals of Painting scheduled for 22-24th January, held in Balmain, Sydney. Both workshops are suitable for beginners to advanced students or those who haven't wielded a paint brush in a long time.

David Palliser continues his exploration of contemporary abstraction with ecstatic inventions and exasperated analysis. His paintings employ burst through layers, gestural mark-making and illusions of sculptural forms. Hovering between the figurative and abstract, they constantly challenge the viewer’s perception. Working intuitively, Palliser creates paintings which flow with conscious expression, falling in and out of the canvas and between the push and pull of its spatial parameters.
